Jessica Sun, Chief Human Resources Officer, to Leave SGS

September 23, 2024

To support the execution of Strategy 27 – "Accelerating Growth, Building Trust" – CEO Géraldine Picaud has determined that the Group Chief Human Resources Officer role must be based in Switzerland. Unfortunately, Jessica Sun, the current Chief Human Resources Officer, is unable to relocate from the USA due to family commitments. Géraldine Picaud will oversee Human Resources on an interim basis until a permanent successor is appointed.

Jessica Sun joined SGS in January 2022 and has been instrumental in supporting the Board during the recent leadership transition and succession planning. Under her leadership, the group’s Human Resources function underwent a successful transformation, enhancing its infrastructure and fostering a stronger organizational culture. SGS will continue to build on these advancements with the implementation of the MySGS platform and the Talent & Performance Management Program.

Additionally, Jessica Sun championed a culture of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, significantly enhancing employee engagement across the company. Her achievements have laid a robust foundation for developing the culture of performance and agility needed to achieve the goals of Strategy 27.

CEO Géraldine Picaud extends her heartfelt thanks to Jessica Sun for her outstanding contributions to SGS and wishes her continued success in all her future endeavors.
